§ Mr. MacleanMy Department has recently announced an additional £625,000 in the current financial year to 837W allow English Nature to finalise long-standing management agreements inheritated from the former Nature Conservancy Council. Next year's general improvement area settlement, announced earlier this month, will enable English Nature to meet its core site protection and management responsibilities. English Nature aims to undertake appropriate management and monitoring of the SSSI network.
