§ Mr. BaldryDischarges of salt water from land based accumulations of dredged sand can be controlled by the National Rivers Authority under the Water Resources Act 1991. Conditions controlling the rate and quality of the water discharged can be imposed, via discharge consents, in order to protect receiving waters.
