§ Mr. JackThe data available relates to the number of "known" offenders, that is, persons found guilty or cautioned. Information on indictable offences by age for the period 1987 to 1991 is included in table 6 of the Home Office statistical bulletin 30/92—"Cautions, court proceedings and sentencing, England and Wales, 1991", issued on 28 October 1992. A copy of the bulletin is in the Library. The 1991 data are provisional.
