To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will list which directors of private companies act as advisers to Companies House.

Mr. Neil Hamilton

The Companies House steering board advises on strategic priorities for Companies House. Its full membership was set out in the 1991–92 annual report and accounts, which has been laid before the House. The private sector members are:

Mr. David Eggleton—Chairman, Cranfield IT Institute

Mr. Iain Ferguson—Chairman, Plant Breeding International

Mr. Tony Glaze—Managing Director, Group Personnel

David Young—Finance Director, John Lewis Partnership
