§ Mr. ShersbyTo ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage if he will publish a list of all the new capital projects in the royal parks referred to in his Department's news release of 12 November, together with the estimated cost of each such project.
§ Mr. KeyFinal decisions have not been taken yet on next year's programme of capital projects in the Royal parks, and design work is still in hand in some cases. However, I envisage that as a result of the additional allocation of funds announced on 12 November it will be possible to carry out the following projects:
subject to satisfactory design and acceptable costings.
- map and signposting in all the parks;
- restoration of Speakers corner, Hyde park;
- floodlighting the lake in St. James's park;
