§ Mr. Peter LloydOxford prison is currently being used on a temporary basis to hold prisoners from London establishments while refurbishment work is carried out, and from Cardiff prison to avoid use of police cells. It is intended to return the buildings to Oxford county council but no decision has yet been taken on when this will be.
