Information will only become available as a result of assessments of people's needs for social and community care, including housing, from 1 April 1993, when the provisions of the NHS and Community Care Act 1990 come into force. This information will be aggregated and summarised in the social care plans produced by local authorities, jointly with housing authorities, and published by 1 April annually.
