To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make it his policy for a total figure for the number of confirmed BSE cases to be deposited in the House and updated regularly.

I have arranged for the cumulative total of confirmed BSE cases for each county or region in Great Britain to be placed in the Library of the House on a regular basis.
