To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will identify the beaches in the north-west of England that failed to meet the bathing water quality standard during 1992.

Bathing waters not meeting the standards for coliform bacteria in 1992 were Southport, St. Anne's (2), Blackpool (3), Bispham, Cleveleys, Fleetwood, Heysham, Morecambe (2), Bardsea, Newbiggin, Roan Head, Askam, Haverigg, Seascale, St. Bees, Allonby (2) and Skinburness.
