§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleAbout 4¼ million vehicles have travelled westbound over the Severn bridge since 26 April when the concessionaires, Severn River Crossing plc, introduced a new one-way toll. This is about 6 per cent. less than the figure for the same period in 1991. No figures are available for eastbound, non-tolled, traffic.
