HC Deb 23 November 1992 vol 214 c445W
Mr. David Porter

To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department what plans he has to improve the operation of access to children by their fathers where mothers and children have moved away from the area where the families lived before divorce; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. John M. Taylor

The law relating to access to children was comprehensively reformed in the Children Act 1989 and the Government have no current plans for further change. The arrangements enabling children to see a parent who lives in another area are primarily matters to be worked out by those concerned.
