§ Mr. SoamesCurrently calves for export are not sealed in transporters. Regulations in Great Britain require farm animals to be offered food and water at intervals not exceeding 12 hours, unless the journey can be completed within 15 hours. For export journeys over 18 hours., a licence to export is issued when the exporter has made arrangements to feed and water the animals at suitable intervals.
