§ Sir Hector MonroThere is no long-term storage of radioactive waste material in Scotland from sites in Scotland. Some Scottish generated radioactive waste is transported to England for interim storage and final disposal. Quantities of such waste are also stored at various Scottish nuclear sites on an interim basis pending ultimate disposal.
