HC Deb 17 November 1992 vol 214 cc123-5W
Mr. Wilshire

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table showing the length of time between submitting the application and a final decision being announced in respect of all planning applications involving airport expansion that were subject to a local public inquiry since 1970.

Mr. Baldry

Information in the form requested is not readily available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost. The table gives details of the length of time taken to determine most of the major airport expansions subject to public local inquiry since 1977.
