§ Sir Wyn RobertsReturns from local education authorities indicate that between 12,000 and 13,000 governors completed their term of appointment this summer. Information on the number who sought re-appointment and the number of positions still vacant is not available but I am not aware of any authorities who have experienced difficulties in recruiting adequate numbers.
