§ Sir Hector Monro[holding answer 11 November 1992]: Fishing vessel numbers are restricted through the licensing 858W scheme established under the terms of the Sea Fish (Conservation) Act 1967. Questions relating to the registration of vessels, including fishing vessels, are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Transport.
