To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if she will state separately for full-time, part-time and all workers(a) the number and (b) the percentage earning less than £120 excluding overtime for (i) men and (ii) women in (1) Lancashire and (2) the United Kingdom for the latest year for which figures are available.

The available information on the numbers of full-time employees in Great Britain earning less than £120 per week in April 1992 is published in table 14 of part A of the new earnings survey 1992. A copy of the publication is available in the Library. The available information on the percentages of employees earning less than £120 per week in April 1992 is as folllows:
