§ Mr. PortilloEuropean Community countries use varying definitions for their own public expenditure planning and control purposes. However, these countries make returns to the statistical office of the European Communities covering general Government current expenditure, capital expenditure and the financial deficit, based on the European system of integrated economic accounts.
