To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what studies his Department is conducting into the prospects for implementing a limited anti-ballistic missile system.

Mr. Aitken

The potential ballistic missile risk and possible ways of countering it are being reviewed in consultation with the United States and other NATO allies.
