HC Deb 10 November 1992 vol 213 c695W
Mrs. Mahon

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will review the working of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 with particular reference to the exceptions from the Act.

Mr. Jack

There are no plans to review the working of the Act itself. However, it is intended that the number and range of exceptions to the Act should be re-examined as part of the review of the arrangements for the disclosure of information from criminal records which will be undertaken in advance of the computerisation of the national collection of criminal records.
