§ Mr. NorrisThe building of the proposed Jubilee line extension is estimated to create direct employment on-site on civil works for up to 5,000 people and off-site in manufacturing and supply for approximately five times as many more people. Talks are continuing on the promised £400 million contribution from the private sector. I cannot speculate on the timing of any announcement about the future of the project in advance of the conclusion of those talks.
