HC Deb 10 November 1992 vol 213 cc739-40W
Mr. Vaz

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what has been the amount of grant to the Housing Corporation in each year since its establishment; and what plans he has to increase it.

1982–83 755
1983–84 734
£ million
1984–85 697
1985–86 711
1986–87 715
1987–88 752
1988–89 777
1989–90 935
1990–91 1,063
1991–92 1,586
1992–93 11,770
1 Estimated outturn

Information about earlier years and figures for the total of grants paid to the Corporation cannot be provided except at disproportionate cost.

The Government's future plans will be announced by the Chancellor in his autumn statement.
