§ Mr. CurryWe did not support the Commission's decision to make vining peas eligible for area aid under the new arable support regime. Following pressure from the United Kingdom and a number of other member states, we understand from the Commission that it now intends to reverse this decision. That would be a satisfactory outcome, and it is one for which we will continue to work.
