§ Mr. CurryWe are currently funding a range of studies on the agronomic and environmental effects of short and longer-term set-aside, including changes in the botanical composition of set-aside land, the effects on wildlife habitats and the potential for conserving and restoring such habitats on set-aside land. This involves assessing a number of complex factors over time and final results are not yet available.
