§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe numbers of clinical grading appeals outstanding in Wales are as follows:
Number At employing authority level 403 At regional level (Welsh Appeals Committee) 1,310 At national level (Negotiating Council) 170 Employing authorities are on course to have completed appeals at the local level by the end of this year. Efforts are being made to speed up the appeals process at regional and national levels, but while further appeals continue to be lodged it is not feasible to forecast when the entire process will be completed.
