Exports of nuclear materials or equipment to Israel as set out in the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1991, as amended, require a licence issued by the Department of Trade and Industry. Applications for export licences are considered on their individual merits and take account of advice received from other Government Departments which will reflect the United Kingdom's obligations in respect of nuclear non-proliferation.
§ Mr. HuttonTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how much has been spent by the International Atomic Energy Agency in each of the last five years on monitoring work in relation to the non-proliferation treaty.
