§ Mr. Robin SquireMDC has a substantial programme of encouraging industrial development, through the creation of business parks, formation of industrial associations and strategy to secure inward investment. MDC's policies are discussed with the Department regularly, at the ministerial meeting on the corporate plan and with officials at the Merseyside task force throughout the year.
