To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will give details of the total United Kingdom imports by value of all manufactured goods from(a) the United States of America, (b) China, (c) Hong Kong and (d) Taiwan for each of the last five years, split between textiles, clothing and other.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade how many British made domestic fridges were exported in each year since 1988; and how many fridges currently sold in the United Kingdom are imported from other countries.

The country of manufacture of refrigerators exported from, or sold in, the United Kingdom is not collected. Import and export information is given in the table:
