§ Mr. ForthPublicity brochures on GM status have not been sent to all chairmen of school government management committees. My right hon. Friend recently wrote to the headteacher and chairman of governors of all maintained schools about GM status in the light of responses to the White Paper, "Choice and Diversity: a new framework for schools". That letter invited them to request an information pack if they so wished.
