To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many disabled children are currently integrated into mainstream schools in each local education authority in Wales; and how many are granted specialist equipment within each authority.

Information on the provision of specialist equipment for disabled pupils in maintained primary and secondary schools is not collected centrally.

The number of disabled children, in maintained primary and secondary schools, for whom the local education authority was maintaining a statement of special needs in January, 1991, is given as follows:
