To ask the President of the Board of Trade how often he has met representatives of the Institution of Electrical Engineers; and what matters were discussed.

To date, my right hon. Friend has had no meetings with representatives of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Officials, including those from the new industry sector division, are in contact with the LEE on a number of industrial issues.
