§ Mr. Garel-JonesTalks on Cyprus reconvened on 26 October in New York, and moved to face to face discussion between President Vassiliou and Mr. Denktash on 28 October. Limited ground has as yet been covered, but both sides appear to be taking a constructive approach. We continue to give full backing to the efforts of the UN Secretary-General.
