§ Mr. GoodladAs signatories, we support the agreements on a comprehensive political settlement of the Cambodia conflict signed in Paris in October 1991. The United Kingdom played an active part in the negotiations leading up to these agreements.
We will continue to work both through the United Nations and bilaterally to help ensure that the agreements are implemented fully, leading to free and fair elections, a constitution and the formation of a new Cambodian Government next year.
