§ Mr. Gwilym JonesFollowing the submission of expressions of interest last year, the three health units in Clwyd health authority are among the 14 invited to prepare applications for NHS trust status in April 1993. Decisions on whether to proceed are entirely a matter for the individual units in the light of local circumstance. In the event that applications are received, statutory public consultation will be undertaken before any decisions are reached. I would expect an announcement on the outcome of the application process to be made this autumn.
