To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what is the amount of cash given to the family doctor service for each of the last three years.

Cash expended on the general medical services in Wales for the financial year 1989–90 and 1990–91 was as follows:

  • 1989–90: £95.3 million
  • 1990–91: £114.6 million

Figures for 1991–92 are not yet available.
