§ Mr. Lennox-BoydRepresentations to the Malawi Government calling for the immediate release of Chakufwa Chinana were made jointly by EC heads of mission in Lilongwe on 10 April. They were assured that Mr. Chinana's personal safety was not in question and that he would be charged and tried without undue delay.
