§ Mr. SoamesQuarantine restrictions in relation to foot and mouth disease are being lifted within the Community in the light of the adoption of a non-vaccination policy in all member states. Although negotiations on quarantine for rabies susceptible species are continuing, this Government will not accept any solution which leaves the United Kingdom less well protected than under the existing rabies protection arrangements.
