§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 18 May 1992]: The information in respect of district councils is not held centrally and could not be obtained without disproportionate cost.
Regional council social work departments may also help disabled people with adaptations to their homes. Information on the number of applications made through social work departments and the length of time to complete adaptations to the homes of disabled people is not held centrally.
