§ Mr. JackThe terms of the extradition arrangement between the United Kingdom and Germany are contained in the European Convention on Extradition Order 1990, which extends to the Channel Islands. The application of the arrangements in Germany is a matter for the German authorities. I understand that Germany cannot extradite its own nationals because of prohibitions to that effect in their own constitutions.
