§ Mr. MacleanResponsibility for eco-labelling is shared between my Department and the Department of Trade 131W and Industry. The Department of Trade and Industry has already taken steps to publicise the scheme widely to industry through newsletters, articles and seminars and this will continue. As we move towards the autumn when the scheme is due to come into operation we will increasingly target publicity to raise awareness among consumers.
