To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to meet the London residuary body to discuss county hall.

I have no immediate plans to meet the London residuary body.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received in respect of the future of county hall and Battersea power station.

Sir George Young

I have received a number of representations on the future of county hall, particularly in the light of the offer made for the site by the London School of Economics. I have received no representations in respect of Battersea power station.
