§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe fire occurred in the electrical switchboard of HMS Turbulent. The precise cause, the full extent of the damage and the costs of repair are still being 51W assessed. Twenty-four personnel were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation. There were no other casualties. The fire posed no threat to the submarine's nuclear reactor. There are no implications for the future designation of Z-berths.
