HL Deb 16 March 1992 vol 536 c85WA
Baroness Park of Monmouth

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What representations they made to the Government of Zimbabwe on the possible effects of that Government's proposed Land Acquisition Bill on the economy of that country.

The Earl of Caithness

We have made a number of such representations over the past year. My right honourable friends the Secretary of State and the Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs have raised the matter with Zimbabwean Ministers on four separate occasions. The Prime Minister has also discussed the subject with President Mugabe.
