§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleMuch work is going on within the Ministry of Defence to determine future locations for both service and headquarters personnel. The aim is wherever possible to rationalise and concentrate personnel on existing defence sites away from London and the south-east. Certain RAF recruitment activities will transfer to RAF Cranwell, with the addition of 89 service and 70 civilian jobs for the region. At present, no posts are being considered for relocation to Mansfield.
