§ Mr. RentonSubject to parliamentary approval of the late spring supplementary estimates, the cash limit for class XII, vote 2, is to be increased by £10,800,000, to £240,092,000, to increase the grant in aid for the Arts Council.
The additional provision will be charged to the reserve and will therefore not add to the planned total of public expenditure.
