Whether the contract of sale of the British Technology Group has been signed; whether there are any conditions precedent in the contract; and on what date completion will take place.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Trade and Industry (Lord Reay)I can confirm that the share purchase agreement for the sale of the British Technology Group was signed on the morning of 11th March. There are a number of conditions in the agreement which are normal in a share purchase agreement. Completion will take place on 31st March, provided the conditions are fulfilled at that date.
