§ Mr. Leigh[holding answer 10 March 1992]: In the current financial year, my Department has provided support for film totalling £5.6 million. Overall Government support for film in the current financial year amounts to £25.9 million.
There are no specific support schemes for video, publishing, the record industry or the press.
