Whether they will list the number of permanent and temporary posts in the European Community's institutions for the years 1976, 1981, 1986 and 1991; the latest annual total of expenditure on staff in active employment; and the deductions to which such staff are liable.

All staff employed in Community institutions are liable to have Community income tax (between 8 and 45 per cent., depending on level of income), a 'temporary contribution' and pensions contributions deducted from their salaries.
