§ Lord Kennetasked Her Majesty's Government:
(a) How many officials presently working in the Treasury have accountancy qualifications and how many have qualifications in environmental sciences, and (b) how many of the advisers to the Treasury have such qualifications.
§ The Minister of State, Department of Transport (Lord Brabazon of Tara)There are 42 officials presently working in the Treasury who hold professional accountancy qualifications and 16 who have degree qualifications in environmental science and analogous subjects.
None of the Advisers to the Treasury holds either of these qualifications.
