§ Mr. McLoughlinDraft regulations are being finalised which will require all buses in Great Britain, when carrying children to or from school, to display a distinctive sign. This will indicate to other road users that children are present and may be crossing the road in the vicinity of these vehicles. These proposals will also permit the use of hazard warning lights, in conjunction with the signs, when children are boarding or alighting.
We intend to put these regulations before Parliament shortly.
